It is a privilege to be considered for any employment position in today’s economy and I want to make my gratitude clear, regardless of whether or not I ultimately become employed at your firm. I can promise with the utmost certainty, that there exists no other individual that will donate the level of effort and produce the level of results that I will. From a young age, I was always the last child cleaning up the playground, putting the finishing touches on the assignment, or picking up the equipment at work. Nothing has changed, and I will be the first one to start the task and last one cleaning up at the end of the day.

I live the motorcycle lifestyle, compete in the local races, and follow the national racers online and on television religiously because I am a true enthusiast and a gear-head of the highest caliber. Thus, it has been my dream to work for one of the major manufacturers and to be on the “inside” of the industry, for as long as I can remember. I have family members that have worked for Yamaha, Can-Am, Piaggio Group, Segway, and KTM and as far back as the sixth grade, I wrote my practice resumes to the very companies that I currently seek employment with.

 

I believe that no matter what the task or one’s title, a person should never, under any circumstances, give others any reason to doubt whether he or she has earned anything less than every penny received from a day’s work. Holding true to this philosophy, I begin every challenge, large or small, with this end in mind, knowing that hard work, effort, and enthusiasm will always prevail. That being said, I pledge to bring the work ethic, drive, and attitude that I am known for to bat for every task and challenge to which I have the privilege of working on.

 

A great deal of effort has gone into achieving and maintaining a 4.0 GPA for both high school and college, meanwhile working fulltime in college. I intend to carry this over into a career. I have extensive experience in all functional areas of the powersports industry from sales, to finance, to parts, to service and I believe that I can offer a necessary and vital collection of knowledge and a viewpoint that will allow me to be an effective representative of your company. Furthermore, my unique work experience and skill sets in other fields prove my flexibility and skill for learning and adapting to changing tasks and environments.

Furthermore, I offer a history of proven results, as evidenced by the following accomplishments for my current employers:

·         Assisted in securing profitable housing association grounds care contracts even though the competitors undercut our bid.

·         Developed Facebook page and fan page for Topeka Powersports and instructed the salesmen in its maintenance.​

·         Helped in creation of new company logo and signage.​

·         Developed personal door to door campaign to secure entire nearby block account for inclusive lawn care. This does not require equipment to be transported by trailer from the storage facility, decreasing expenses and time.​
